ABOUT COLLEGE

Godavari Shikshan Prasarak Mandal’s is established in the year 1993 and B.Raghunath Arts, Commerce and Science College was run by G.S.P.M.’s which has been established in 2000.The college is established to provide a facility for higher education in the field of Arts and Science for undergraduate and postgraduate students. The basic objective for running backward class students for rural areas.

The college has been named by late B.Raghunath, who was famous, a poeter, and writer in the Marathwada region. The college was accredited by NAAC with ‘B’grade with CGPA 2.46 in the year 2012. The college was certified as ISO 9001:2008 in June2016. The college is located in beautiful nature background with playground, gymkhana, computers and well equipped laboratories, library with reading room, NRC centre, English language laboratory, Seminar hall etc. Many faculty members are engaged in Major and Minor Research Projects which were sanctioned by University Grants Commission. The college was awarded by as “Best Examination Centre” by S.R.T.M. University. The Principal Dr.Sonawane Vilas Y. awarded as “Best Principal” by S.R.T.M. University, Nanded for year 2015-2016 and college was awarded “Best College” for year 2016-2017. The college was started Add-on Courses as “Spoken English and Phonetics” and “Analysis of Soil and Water” by the department of English and Chemistry which was financed by UGC. The self finance certificate course in “Beauty Parlor” run by the College. Also started Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Thoughts under “EPOCH” Scheme.

The college was successfully organized National seminars in various subjects, workshop, seminars and conferences. The NSS unit was constructed four toilets at adopted village Panhera.
